The temple of Tamreswari is also popularly called Dikkravasini. The temple is now obliterated. Only a few bricks and ceramic assemblages can be found from the nearest rivered. The reported inscription from the temple records construction of the temple of Dikkaravasini by Muktadharmanarayana. The practice of human sacrifice prevalent in the temple was stopped by the Ahom rulers.
